MODS, by LL

MODS is a product line from the Brazilian company LL, which manufactures various decorative and utility items using additive manufacturing technology, or 3D printing. Being a sub-brand of LL, its products are integrated into a broader catalog, but differ in target audience.
The challenge was to build a visual identity that maintained the brand elements, was directly related to the product's production method (3D printing), and conveyed the message of lightness, modernity, and quality.

Branding, Motion and Visual Identity

Logo presentation

Initially, the logo development was conceived with elements that referenced 3D printing equipment. Through extensive study, we understood that the cube format is extremely relevant for equipment calibration and practically a symbol that the brand would like to maintain in some way in its logo. With the logo already defined, the animation sought to bring elements that demonstrated flexibility and the wide variety of possibilities that production with additive manufacturing possesses.

Visual solution

From the square shape and motion design, the brand colors followed a palette already used by LL, with extensive use of gradients, revealing the wide range of colors available in their productions. For the typography, we also followed the parent brand and used Futura Std with the aid of Playfair. A combination of fonts that covers both printed and virtual material, especially the brand's website.
